Hello all,
First let me thank Patrick Patterson, Carole Granade and all the FACCSF members for their leadership in bringing the Chamber where it is today. I think that FACCSF is a very dynamic Chamber with great things happening and I am glad to have been part of this journey since 2002.

During our annual General Meeting on June 10th, our members elected new Board Members and these Board Members elected the new Executive Committee including 6 officers - Frederic Stemmelin - Executive Vice President, Eve Chaurand-Fraser - Vice President, Antoine Villata – Vice President, Francois Muse – Treasurer, Christine Hoefliger – Secretary and myself.

A host of events and concerts to celebrate this year’s Fête de la Musique in the Bay Area.

June 18 at the de Young Museum
6pm - 9pm
At the De Young Museum and in partnership with the French American Cultural Society and the Alliance Francaise in San Francisco, several musicians will be present throughout the evening to celebrate the Fete de la Musique.

June 20, Palo Alto World Music Day
3pm - 7:30pm
The Palo Alto City Council has declared Sunday June 20th as World Music Day in Palo Alto.
The celebration will take place Downtown Palo Alto, from 3pm to 7:30pm, on University Avenue, King Plaza ( City Hall), and surrounding streets.
In Palo Alto , professional and amateur musicians will perform a wide variety of musical genre on street corners and plazas : jazz, blues, classical, pop, rock, Latin, Celtic, Klezmer, Chinese, world music,choral group, etc. All performances will be free and open to the public Book the date now and tell your friends!
