In the city, “gourmet lunch on the go” is a rare find. It’s hard to find a compromise, isn’t it? Not for Stephane Gregoire, a recently-settled French restaurateur, who lives by this maxim in his restaurant, Fleur de Sel, located at 308 Kearny Street, SF.
Stephane Gregoire is a veteran of the catering industry. A native of Saint Malo in northwestern France (which, by the way, is renowned for its restaurants), Stephane has over twenty-five years of culinary experience under his belt. His extensive career has led him to Switzerland, England, and the Antilles islands, among other destinations. He settled in the United States ten years ago, primarily working in Altanta and with well-known chef Gordon Ramsey.
One year ago, drawing on his experience, Stephane opened his own business, Fleur de Sel. He now focuses on providing gourmet organic food to hungry San Franciscans. Fleur de Sel’s menu relies heavily on local farmers and supports sustainable agriculture. For busy people who cannot take long lunch breaks, but still expect quality and tasty food, Stephane Gregoire’s Fleur de Sel is a wonderful little stop in San Francisco.
