Zoomedia, Inc. is a leading healthcare interactive agency providing creative, interactive and strategic services to support its clients’ communications needs. The Director of Sales will lead the Zoomedia sales effort to expand the agency’s client base and meet and exceed revenue targets.
As a seasoned interactive healthcare agency sales professional, you will immediately identify new opportunities, develop a sales pipeline and be expected to generate revenue within the first three months.
Baseline Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of five years of digital agency experience, including three years of health care agency experience in a leading senior sales or business development role
- History of establishing, expanding and closing complex sales engagements with a proven record of meeting sales quotas
- Ability to autonomously develop comprehensive plans to identify and consistently close on qualified sales leads
- A thorough understanding of interactive products and technologies and how to apply them to each client’s specific needs
- Superior written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills
- Leadership of the sales department, including the day-to-day management of a sales team
Responsibilities
- Close sales opportunities with new clients to drive Zoomedia’s annual revenue goals
- Develop and implement sales outreach strategy
- Own the entire sales cycle from lead generation to pitches, proposals and contracts
- Work with client services team to maximize revenue growth with existing clients
- Attend industry meetings and conferences to develop leads and increase brand awareness
- Manage sales pipeline and run sales meetings
- Manage required weekly and monthly reporting and metrics for senior management
- Develop and deliver integrated sales and marketing materials (sales deck, print collateral, newsletters, webinars, etc)
- Maintain expert knowledge of digital marketing trends within pharmaceutical marketing and convey that expertise to prospects and clients
- Maintain understanding of regulatory guidelines as they relate to interactive, Internet-based marketing, including social media
- Understand and evaluate competitive position
- Build and grow a team by mentoring, coaching, educating and managing direct reports
