Club Excellence

“Never is the French style more apparent than within its luxury brands. Among the true representatives of French culture, many of these brands were created centuries ago and are living expressions of the memory and heritage of France.
More than objects… more than experiences… these brands tell the history of one of the oldest, most beloved, and most visited of all the world’s countries. Through innovative design, craftsmanship, artistic endeavor and unparalleled service, the luxury brands of France bring their country to the world – and to the world, a timeless image of France at its best.”

For more than thirty years, the French-American Chamber of Commerce has been deeply involved in the leading sectors of Northern California, such as high-tech and biotech. We are now getting involved in a new path with the creation of a dedicated group for French luxury brands: Club Excellence.

Initiated by Didier de la Ferrière – the former General Manager of Sofitel San Francisco Bay – and launched in 2009, Club Excellence gathers seven high-end companies settled in California, from luxury trunk-makers to famous jewelers. We are thus more than happy to introduce our members to these legendary brands, true symbols of the French “savoir-faire”.

On Saturday, May 2nd, the French Luxury Shopping Day will be the occasion to visit our members’ stores, and support the Junior League of San Francisco while shopping for Mother’s Day.

We also would like to extend a warm thank you to Club Excellence’s founding members, and all the people who helped us to make it a success: Eliane Fiolet, Marcy Montgomery (Storia, Inc.), Isabelle Monzzoni, Nicolas Funke and Guillaume Espanel.
