DeNovoWines

Hervé Bruckert, Ladd Cahoon, and Dana Zimmerman established De Novo Wines in 2004. De Novo is a Latin term that connotes beginning again. As such, De Novo Wines is named in honor and celebration of life’s many new beginnings, transitions, and continued growth.

De Novo offers these award-winning wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, and Bastille, our signature Bordeaux-style blend. We select only the finest grapes from small family-owned vineyards located across Sonoma County, including Dry Creek Valley, Alexander Valley, and Mayacamas Ridge. Our red wines are crafted with the collective support and enthusiasm of our friends and loved ones, who actively engage in the winemaking process.
Most recently, De Novo Wines received the prestigious Double Gold Medal (unanimous gold by the judges) at the 2008 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the world’s largest competition of American wines.

De Novo Wines are available for purchase online and in selected Bay Area restaurants, including El Paseo in Mill Valley; Cal-Italia Restaurant in Sonoma; Rue Saint Jacques in San Francisco; and Café Lyon in Oakland.
