On May 13th we had the honor to host Susanne Machacz, Senior Director at XCenda; Vikrant Karnik, VP LS Capgemini; and Bruce Quinn, Senior Health Policy Specialist at Foley Hoag LLP for a Life Science Breakfast about Reimbursement. Our speakers presented the challenges and opportunities regarding US Healthcare System. Our experts dealed with the different aspects of the theme, answering to the key questions such as “Who are the likely payers for the patient population?” or “Will the product be separately reimbursed or will it be considered a part of a service or procedure?”
Even if legislation and policy changes make future reimbursement difficult to predict, they also try to present the different potential ways for the future.
