On April 9th the first e-marketing Bootcamp took place, organized by the FACCSF.
Bringing together a panel of 5 experts, 6 companies presenting the issues they have to face to regarding e-marketing and e-sales, and an audience of 10 people, the Bootcamp has been the occasion to exchange and find solution for the attendees.
The diversity of the cases studied, with companies from the real estate market, online sales, luxury goods, etc. has been an opportunity for everyone to find information for his or her own situation.
Our experts offered various solutions for each case. They presented to our attendees some free opportunities, such as blogging, creating Facebook and Myspace pages for their businesses, or submitting articles to webzine related to their sector.
In some cases, some other paying solutions were recommended, such as using Search Engine Optimization, sponsored links on Google, or word trackers in order to build links to their website.
Today, a lot of companies use the same tools to expose their products or services. The idea of differentiation often came back in regards to e-marketing solutions. For example, the experts insisted on the possibilities to present one’s personal views, to use video supports, or to give consumers testimonials in those tools.
Of course, in addition to those general tools and solutions, specific ideas were given, depending on each case.
Special thank to our five experts, Aaron Fraser, Lou Hoffman, Dominique Lahaix, Daniel Laury, and Dominique Piotet, and to our host: Ropers and Associates.
